What Family Means to Me
Family is everything to me. They are the ones that are there for me when I need them. They love unconditionally and do not judge. I can genuinely get their honest opinion when asked or even when I do not ask. I am very lucky to have such a loving and supportive family. There are a lot of ups and downs in life and knowing that I am surrounded by my family makes it easier to celebrate the good times and to help deal with the hard times. To me, this is what family is all about. I love my family very much, and I honestly do not know what I would do without them.
What I Love About Being a Legal Assistant
My job allows me to interact with people. Sometimes I talk to them before anyone else. This gives me the opportunity to help reassure someone that they will be receiving the best help possible throughout their case.
What I do When I’m Not Working
I spend time with my family. I love watching my son’s basketball games, and his track meets. Summer is my favorite time. There are family barbeques, concerts, biking, swimming, baseball games, the beach, and so much more.
Unfair Advantage
Karen’s unfair advantage is that she is a supermom to her four super intelligent and highly motivated children. Her children span from honors middle and high school students to a future Stockton University graduate and a PsyD program student. Karen gets more things done per day than is humanly possible and gets them done with a smile on her face.
Karen is likely the first member of the HLG team that you will meet – on the phone or in person. Her kind demeanor is no act. We ask all team members to breathe compassion and service into the family law process, and Karen does this with ease.
